Volunteer Examiners Committee
The Volunteer Examiners (VEs) Committee conducts amateur radio license testing under the auspices of the Amateur Radio Relay League’s (ARRL’s) Volunteer Examination Coordinator (VEC). All VEs are accredited by ARRL’s VEC, and the VEs conduct tests for all three classes of licenses: Technician, General, and Amateur Extra.
Regular test sessions at the Great Northwest Library, 9050 Wellwood, San Antonio, Texas 78250 (one block east of the intersection of Culebra and Tezel Roads), are conducted at 10:00 a. m. on the 4th Saturday of the even number months except December. A test session is also conducted on the 2nd Saturday of January as a part of Radio Fiesta. For questions or to pre-register email us at Test Administrator or call (210) 273-5927.
